From Jeanene

After showing mom the blog post, she e-mailed the following message. I thought it a good addition. Thanks again for all your support and prayers. The photo is mom and family on her one year anniversary. Praise God!

img_2500Ron and I went to the “Casting Crowns” concert where the lead singer told of his personal battle with kidney cancer. He challenged the audience to applaud those who would stand up to indicate they are survivors of cancer. I first didn’t think that this pertained to me, but then thought to myself…I am a 1 year survivor…I AM a survivor…so I stood up and embraced the celebration of an arena that was filled with applause…applause for the survivors…and applause to The Great Physician, our REASON for our surviving!messages-image1083751009

  1. I love that you had an arena full of believers cheering you on Jeanine!!! We continue to life you up regularly in prayer, whenever the Holy Spirit brings you to mind, and know with all certainty that the Lord God of the Angel Armies is sustaining and carrying you. He’s got you! And, He will not let you go. Love to all your family on this journey with you, and prayers for their peace and courage.

  2. Hi Jeanene. So good to see that smile of yours. Yes, you are a survivor! Praise God! Your face reflects His grace. I am glad to hear you have retired. You probably wonder how you ever found the time for a job. And I hope you’ve been able to sneak away for some sunshine and warmth this winter. You are truly a special girl! I’m looking forward to grand times together one day soon where cancer won’t be an issue. Thanks for posting the lovely photo. With love, Judy Yates

The Great Physician has blessed you, and you in turn bless others with your testimony. What an experience that concert must have been, I can only imagine. Love the picture of you and the family.
