Going Home.

_MG_9194This morning, our beloved mother and wife lost the battle with lung cancer. Words cannot express how completely heartbroken we are. She was strong woman, and fought up until the very end. She passed-away peacefully, comfortably, and surrounded by her family. We are lucky to have had her in our lives, and lucky to say that her life was full of liveliness, compassion, kindness, strength, faith, and love. Thank you all again for your continuing encouragement, support, and prayers throughout this journey.

We will post an update with service details later.

Lastly, we leave you with a song that has always been meaningful to Mom, and a true testament to how she chose to live her life.

  4. Ron, Jealynn, and Janae, I am sitting here with tears rolling down my face thinking about the loss of my dear friend, your mom and wife, Jeanene. We have many memories together as families and I imagine I hear her laugh even now. I will miss her. She loved you and her grandchildren all so much and lived her life to the fullest by serving others. My heart is breaking for you. Praying for you and your families in the days to come. May our God bring you all comfort and peace. Love you all so much. Hugs, Pam

  7. Janae,
Our hears go out to you and your family, especially your Dad. What a heartache for you all this is!
…and yet, because of the Promises given by our Heavenly Father, our Abba, we do have the hope of seeing our loved ones again – “Soon & Very Soon,” as that song says so very well.
May the Divine Comforter bring you each that “Heavenly Peace” as your Mom rests in that same Heavenly Peace, until He comes.
    Amen.

  13. Thinking of her appearing in my shop this past fall with a plant and condolances for my own father who had recently passed …and then the next day she called to decline our dinner invitation as she wasn’t feeling well and had decided to head back to the west side of the state. I’m glad I got to hug her that day. Sending virtual hugs and love from me …Joe’s cousin.
