I know that you, Ron and the girls must be devastated and fearful for the future. We are lifting you up to the God who loves you and asking Him to bring you all peace, courage and healing. Sending much love.

  8. It is difficult to convey my feelings upon hearing of this journey you are now on. I’ve been on that road and know all too well the challenges it brings. But the lessons learned along the way are numerous and have made my life so much richer and fuller. We worship a powerful God who bestows peace amidst the storm – I’m claiming that for you. Hold on – you have a large and strong support system who are daily holding you up before God.
    You are loved,

Jeanene, you look radiant in the pictures with your beautiful smile. May every day on your journey be one step closer to your healing. The song “Sometimes Our Blessings Come Through Tears and Trials” seems to be appropriate for your journey. The Lord will be yours and your families comfort and care. I didn’t get a chance to speak with you since many others needed your time, but wanted to say you are looking healthier for which I praise God! Your strength in the Lord and positive attitude are an inspiration. Rejoice in the Lord is my prayer.

  18. Ron and Jeanene, Thank you for letting me be part of your ministry, your lives, and your community of friends. Thank you for letting me be a prayer partner with you as we pray for God’s Divine will in this health challenge Jeanene is facing. My prayer is for courage for Jeanene as she is progressing through this myriad of meds and treatments. My prayer is for Ron and the daughters to have courage to support Jeanene and that God will give all of you strength to bear up under trials. It is my prayer that God’s name be glorified in this and that, if He wills it, that you be restored to health. Prayers and blessings to you all, Your Christian brother, Rob Aaron

  21. Good morning. Thinking of you often and wondering how your journey on this earth is going. I haven’t heard anything negative, so I trust the drugs are doing their work. Hope you are finding time to kick up your heels once in awhile, along with the rest you need. Just a little perk of self pampering goes a long way. We must find pleasure in the little things. I remember the joy I felt one time at my desk as sunshine fell on my arm. Well, my lady, your warm smile and effervescent personality are remembered. Praying the best for you always. May you feel God’s arms around you. Your friend on the road with you, Judy

  23. — From your update: “Of course, mom is taking it all in stride and has a great attitude. She is focused on the positive aspects that the tumors haven’t spread to other parts of her body. She’s even looking at the painful side effects she’s experiencing as a positive, knowing that it means that her body is responding to the medication. Her outlook and faith in God continue to impress and undoubtedly will continue to give her strength and resilience through this journey.

Jeanene, you are such a strong, beautiful and Godly woman. I admire your strength and resilience. Never giving up on God. You got this!!

  24. Hi Jeanene. You have to be one of the most courageous, strong and tough ladies I’ve ever known.
After all that’s been thrown at you, still able to travel with your hubby?! That is delightful to hear.
You’ll get some good sunshine on that route. I so admire your gumption!
Often wonder your medical status, so appreciate your daughter’s update. Hang in there, dear lady,
    our savior fights with you.

  29. My heart break along with your family in losing Jeanene. She meant so much to me as a BFF, and she leaves a huge empty place in my heart. I thankfully praise God knowing that we will see her again! Her battle is over-no more pain and no more fighting diseases. For her, a crown “of the faithful” awaits. In the meantime, she leaves the challenge to “live each day for Christ” and to “love extravagantly” like she so beautifully lived each day! In one of our last talks, Jeanene praised God for the extra time He gave her, and how precious that time was with you Ron, with the girls, and grandgirls. You filled her life with much happiness and joy. Hang on to those memories. And come Lord, Quickly!! Love and hugs! Charla Appel
